Part of the Jim Beam's newest flavours, Red Stag is a wildly delicious combination of black cherry liqueur infused with Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey. As one of the pioneers of flavoured bourbon, it blazed uncharted paths to become known and loved for its balance of soft, dark cherry aromas backed by traditional bourbon oakiness.

Cold, long, and over more ice than feels necessary. At 32.5% this is softer than straight bourbon and the flavour does the work, which means it needs a mixer with some acidity to keep it from turning into cordial. Chill the bottle: at room temperature the sweetness sits on top and the bourbon underneath disappears entirely.
