Refunds and Returns Policy

We want the bottle to arrive in the condition it left in. If it does not, tell us within 48 hours and we will fix it. Nothing here limits your rights under Australian Consumer Law.

Damaged or missing deliveries

Photograph the carton and the bottle and send the images to orders@jimbeamaustralia.com within 48 hours of arrival, with your order reference. We replace or refund the order in full, including freight.

The 48 hour window exists because carriers will not accept a damage claim after it, not because we want to make it difficult. Photograph the carton before you unpack it if it looks like it has had a hard trip.

If an order has not arrived and tracking has stopped moving, contact us and we will chase the carrier rather than asking you to.

Change of mind

Unopened bottles can be returned within 30 days in their original packaging. Return freight is at your cost and the bottle has to be in resaleable condition.

Once a seal is broken we cannot resell it and cannot accept it back, which is a legal constraint on packaged liquor rather than a preference.

Collectables

Collectables and decanters are sold as described, with condition recorded in the listing: fill level measured against the shoulder, seal and closure condition, and the state of the label, ceramic and box.

Because those are disclosed before you buy, they are not grounds for return when they match the listing. If a piece arrives materially different to what was described, that is a different matter and we will make it right.

How we grade is set out on the collectables page.

How refunds are paid

Refunds go back by the method you paid with. Bank transfers and PayID are refunded to the sending account. Cryptocurrency is refunded in the same asset at the rate on the day of the refund, which may differ from the rate on the day you paid.

Where a crypto discount was applied to the original order, the refund is of the amount actually paid.

Refunds are processed within 3 business days of us receiving the return or approving a damage claim.

Australian Consumer Law

Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure, and to compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage.

You are also entitled to have goods repaired or replaced if they fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure. Nothing in this policy limits those rights.
