Jim Beam 1 Litre and 1.125L: The Sizes That Sell Fastest Here
More Australians search for a Jim Beam bottle by size than by label, and 1 litre wins by a distance. White Label 1L lands at $65.60, Black Extra Aged 1L at $84.99, and the 1.125L White Label sits at $84.99.
Worked out per 100mL the ranking is not what the size suggests: the 700ml is $6.41, the 1 litre $6.56, the 1.75L $6.83 and the 1.125L $7.55, the dearest of the large formats because it is a travel-retail fill rather than a local one. If you mix with cola every Friday, buy 700ml bottles and buy the litre only when you want fewer of them.

Jim Beam White Label 700ml: The Kentucky Straight Bourbon Everyone Starts With
White Label is the bourbon the Beam family has been making since 1795 and the one most people mean when they say Jim Beam whiskey. The label reads Jim Beam Kentucky straight bourbon whiskey, and that phrase is doing real work: straight means at least two years in new charred oak with nothing added but water.
Four years in new charred oak, 37% in the Australian bottling, sweet corn and vanilla up front with a short peppery finish. At $44.90 for the 700ml it is the cheapest way into the range and the cheapest Jim Beam per 100mL we sell, which makes it the bottle we recommend for anything involving cola or ice.
See the whole White Label range or the 700ml size page if you want to compare labels at the same volume.
Jim Beam Black Extra Aged: Longer in the Barrel for Ten Dollars More
Jim Beam Black is the step up, and the gap is smaller than people expect. Extra ageing gives you more oak, more caramel and a longer finish, the 700ml runs $53.80 and the 1 litre $84.99.
Australians still call it Jim Beam black label out of habit, and there is real confusion about the age statement, because some bottles carry a seven year statement and others say Extra Aged with no number. Same liquid family, different labelling rules. The bottles we hold state their own age, and it is in the specifications on each product page.
If you are choosing between the two: for mixing, White Label. For drinking neat or over one big cube, pay the extra and get Jim Beam Black.
Flavoured Jim Beam: Honey, Apple, Peach, Vanilla, Pineapple and Red Stag
The flavoured range is bourbon blended with liqueur, mostly 32.5%, and it behaves differently to the straight bottles. Honey at $50.95 is the one that converts non-whiskey drinkers. Apple at $79.99 and Peach at $79.99 are summer bottles that want soda, not cola.
Pineapple at $54.60 is the sleeper of the range. Vanilla at $95.00 is dessert in a glass. Red Stag Black Cherry at $89.00 is the darkest of them and the only one we would drink neat.
Four of these are American releases with no Australian distribution at all, which is why you cannot find Peach or Vanilla in a chain. We import them. The full range is on the flavoured bourbon page.
Jim Beam Devil's Cut, Rye and the Sipping Bottles
Some Jim Beam is not for mixing. Devil's Cut at $60.75 pulls the bourbon trapped in the barrel wood back out and bottles it at 90 proof, 40% in the Australian fill, and gives you a heavier, oakier whisky than anything else at this price.
Rye at $60.75 is pre-prohibition style, drier and spicier, and it makes a far better Manhattan than the bourbon does. Both Single Barrel bottlings run at 95 and 108 proof for anyone who wants more again.
Winter Reserve at $139.99 and Sunshine Blend at $114.99 sit in Limited Releases and move quickly.
Jim Beam Whiskey or Jim Beam Whisky: Both Spellings, Same Bottle
Half our customers type Jim Beam whisky and half type whiskey, and plenty search for Jim Beams with an s on the end. American and Irish distillers use whiskey, Scotch and most Australian producers use whisky, and Jim Beam bourbon whisky spelled the Scottish way still lands you on the same Kentucky bottle.
Nothing about the liquid changes. We list both spellings across the site so nobody has to guess which one we chose.
Jim Beam Cans: 6, 10 and the 24 Pack Cube
Premix is its own category and Australians buy it by the slab. Bourbon and cola at 4.8%, Zero Sugar, Double Serve at 6.7%, Black Double Serve at 6.9%, Bar Serve at 10% and a 3.5% mid strength for long afternoons.
The 24 pack cube is the pack the major chains rarely list online, and it is where the per-can price actually gets good: the Double Serve slab works out to roughly $2.53 a standard drink, against more than $3.50 for a standard-strength six pack.
Full range and per-can pricing on the Jim Beam cans page.
Jim Beam Decanters and Collectables: Where This Shop Is Different
This is the part no supermarket-owned chain will ever match. Beam's Choice figural decanters from the 1960s and 70s, the Millenium 2000 anniversary set, the Racing Car tins, and the Bicentennial Saturday Evening Post six decanter set at $1,190.00. The Distillers Series seven bottle collection is $859.00 and the 2007 Racing Car with tin is $429.00.
With Suntory Global Spirits pausing production at the Clermont distillery for all of 2026, discontinued and older stock is worth more attention than usual.

Buying Jim Beam in Sydney and Across Australia
We pick, pack and dispatch from our own warehouse at Unit 4, 21 Barrel Street, Alexandria NSW 2015, about six kilometres south of the Sydney CBD. There is no third party in the middle: if you call 0420 127 957 during Mon to Fri, 9am to 5pm AEST, you are speaking to somebody who can walk to the shelf your bottle is on.
Sydney metro orders placed before 3pm AEST leave the same business day and are typically delivered the next. Melbourne, Brisbane, Canberra and Adelaide run about three business days on standard freight and one on express. Perth, Hobart and Darwin take longer, and regional and remote postcodes longer again.
We ship every state and territory. An adult aged 18 or over must be present to sign, and we cannot leave alcohol unattended, so send it somewhere that will be attended during business hours. Full timings are on the delivery page.
Why Buy Your Jim Beam Bourbon From Us
We hold 71 lines of one brand. Fifty of the Jim Beam bottles carry our own photography; the rest use official Jim Beam product renders, self-hosted rather than hotlinked, and we say which is which rather than passing one off as the other.
We price under the major chains on every bottle we both stock, without asking you to join a membership scheme to see it. Glass ships in moulded inserts because bottles move in transit and a broken decanter cannot be replaced. Orders in before 3pm AEST leave Sydney the same business day. And if you are hunting a specific decanter we do not have listed, ask us, because we source them.
Current specials are on the Jim Beam specials page, and the only markdowns we advertise are genuine reductions against our own former prices.
We hold liquor licence LIQ 000000000, which you can check on the Liquor & Gaming NSW public register. It is against the law to sell or supply alcohol to, or to obtain alcohol on behalf of, a person under the age of 18 years. If you want to keep an eye on your intake, the Australian alcohol guidelines set out what low risk drinking looks like.

Jim Beam FAQ
White Label 1 litre is $65.60 with us and Black Extra Aged 1 litre is $84.99. Both sit under the major chain shelf price. Worked out per 100mL the 700ml bottle at $44.90 is still cheaper again, at $6.41 against $6.56 for the litre, so buy the litre for convenience rather than for a saving.
Both. Bourbon is a type of whiskey, so every bottle of Jim Beam is a Kentucky straight bourbon whiskey. The flavoured bottles like Honey and Apple are bourbon blended with liqueur, which is why they are 32.5% rather than 37% or 40%.
It is older and oakier, not simply better. Black spends longer in barrel and carries more caramel and a longer finish, which suits neat drinking. White Label is cleaner and cheaper, and it is the better bottle if cola is going in the glass anyway.
Yes. We ship every state and territory from our Sydney warehouse. Bottles and cans both travel, though 24 packs go by carrier rather than post because of the weight. Someone over 18 has to sign for it, and we cannot leave alcohol unattended.
No. We are an independent Australian bottle shop in Sydney that specialises in the Jim Beam range. Jim Beam is a registered trade mark of Suntory Global Spirits and we are not affiliated with them. The official brand site is jimbeam.com.
Either. Whiskey with an e is the American spelling and the one on the bottle, whisky without it is the Scottish and Australian convention. Searching whiskey bourbon Jim Beam or whisky bourbon Jim Beam brings up the same product, and both spellings appear across this site on purpose.
White Label is 37% in the Australian bottling, Black Extra Aged is 40%, Devil's Cut is 40% in the Australian bottling and carries the 90 proof US label, and Rye is 40%. The flavoured bottles are 32.5%. Premix cans run 3.5%, 4.8%, 6.7%, 6.9% or 10% depending on the line. A 30ml nip of the 40% bottles is about one Australian standard drink.
